Picasa

Google Picasa is a picture organization and editing software that is free and easy to use. In this session, we’ll learn about the features of Picasa and spend some time exploring the editing options embedded in this program. We’ll discuss how Picasa can help you organize your photos. Ideas for using and editing photos for classroom projects and activities will be shared.
Instructional Tie: Using images in classroom projects and activities is a beneficial instructional strategy for students, giving them a visual connection to content.
